Experience Beyond the Expected.
From military command and federal prosecution to complex fiduciary relations, litigation, nonprofit leadership, and in-house general counsel, Adam Sanders has spent his career navigating decisions where sound judgment matters as much as legal knowledge.
MEET THE FOUNDER
A Different Path to the Practice of Law.
Adam Sanders' career has taken him through places and roles that rarely intersect in a single legal practice. From commanding a Marine rocket artillery battery and serving as an Army Judge Advocate to federal prosecution, litigation, nonprofit leadership, and in-house general counsel, Adam has worked in environments where decisions carry significant consequences.
Those experiences shaped a perspective that reaches beyond legal technicalities. They reinforced the importance of understanding institutions, recognizing competing interests, and identifying the decisive point when circumstances become complex.
Today, Sanders Counsel brings that breadth of experience to a more personal practice, serving clients from Pinehurst across the South with counsel that is strategic, principled, and grounded in lasting relationships.

OUR PHILOSOPHY
Sound Judgment. Steady Resolve.
We believe the best counsel begins with understanding. Understanding the circumstances, the people involved, and what is ultimately at stake.
Our approach balances careful discernment with decisive action, honest communication with discretion, and sophisticated legal knowledge with practical clarity.
Because good counsel should do more than tell you what the law allows. It should help you determine the right way forward.
